  1. Looks really good, but remembers me a lot of Doom Eternal and now it wants to be Deadpool in the tone (the humor was always there in the series, but now is too much)…i dunno…

  2. pros
+not a looter shooter why couldnt 2 have this kind of combat
    +pretty enviroments
    +grappling hook
    +weapons look good

    cons
-too scripted with too many cutscenes
-too linear, could be this level.
-the combat music, well what combat music? Needs actiony combat music
-the humor is lame and ghey

Conclusion was this an actual game or some scripted faked vertical slice presentation to get corporate to greenlight the project?

    1. Trailer was created from this level only, so I assume a of things were packed into it.

      But this caught my attention:

      -too linear

Dude, people were complaining how were the levels were made in SW2 and you are complaining that it is like in SW1. Are you feelin’ okay?

  3. I agree. Even I don’t like the comedy part in such type of Games. That’s why I don’t play Serious Sam that often..

Sometimes those sarcastic lines, and the humor which ‘Lo Wang’ spews out can get very annoying ! Maybe others might like it though, but this really frustrates me !

Even Shadow Warrior 1 and 2 had the same comedy stuff.

    1. the first shadow warrior had some post ironic humor by lo wang and hoji but the story was serious, how did we get to this being saints row with rage 2?

    2. I agree about the comedy but I think the reboot of Shadow Warrior was always this wacky. I haven’t played the originals. With that said the gameplay looks really good – there are no Borderlands crap from SW2 and no ammo shortage and relying on finishing moves as a crutch from Doom Eternal.

  4. This looks really good for the most part.
    My only complaints:
    – Low FOV
    – Linear / scripted (can’t say for sure until full game)
    – Too long/many cutscenes (again, maybe just beginning of the game)

  5. When is it coming out? Hopefully in Q1 of 2021 and not in December of 2021. P.S. Does Zilla in this game resemble Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa?
