Devolver and Flying Wild Hog have released a new video, showing 17 minutes of gameplay footage from Shadow Warrior 3. This gameplay video features a full playthrough of the “Way to Motoko” mission. Moreover, it will give you a glimpse at the game’s graphics, as well as its gameplay mechanics.
Shadow Warrior 3 promises to launch the offbeat first-person shooter series to the next level. The game will also have a seamless blend of fast-paced gunplay, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system.
In Shadow Warrior 3, players can conduct a symphony of death with each encounter by mixing overwhelming firepower with devastatingly precise katana strikes as they dash in and around the demonic hordes.
Players will be able to execute spectacular finishing moves to claim a piece of their conquered foe. Players can also unleash its powers back on the horde in a burst of unstoppable fury and powerful magic.
Furthermore, each environment will have hazardous structures and devices. Thus, players can activate them to add another layer of creative choice to the offensive strategy.
Shadow Warrior 3 will release on the PC in 2021. You can also find here its first official PC screenshots.
Enjoy!

weapons sound like sfn-x’s mother’s queefs.
Looks really good, but remembers me a lot of Doom Eternal and now it wants to be Deadpool in the tone (the humor was always there in the series, but now is too much)…i dunno…
Looks awesome. The gore system is so DOOM like.
looks neat but hope not too much comedy
pros
+not a looter shooter why couldnt 2 have this kind of combat
+pretty enviroments
+grappling hook
+weapons look good
cons
-too scripted with too many cutscenes
-too linear, could be this level.
-the combat music, well what combat music? Needs actiony combat music
-the humor is lame and ghey
Conclusion was this an actual game or some scripted faked vertical slice presentation to get corporate to greenlight the project?
Trailer was created from this level only, so I assume a of things were packed into it.
But this caught my attention:
Dude, people were complaining how were the levels were made in SW2 and you are complaining that it is like in SW1. Are you feelin’ okay?
no its more linear than the first game
graphics looks like a next-gen game, what engine graphic use??
I agree. Even I don’t like the comedy part in such type of Games. That’s why I don’t play Serious Sam that often..
Sometimes those sarcastic lines, and the humor which ‘Lo Wang’ spews out can get very annoying ! Maybe others might like it though, but this really frustrates me !
Even Shadow Warrior 1 and 2 had the same comedy stuff.
the first shadow warrior had some post ironic humor by lo wang and hoji but the story was serious, how did we get to this being saints row with rage 2?
I agree about the comedy but I think the reboot of Shadow Warrior was always this wacky. I haven’t played the originals. With that said the gameplay looks really good – there are no Borderlands crap from SW2 and no ammo shortage and relying on finishing moves as a crutch from Doom Eternal.
This looks really good for the most part.
My only complaints:
– Low FOV
– Linear / scripted (can’t say for sure until full game)
– Too long/many cutscenes (again, maybe just beginning of the game)
When is it coming out? Hopefully in Q1 of 2021 and not in December of 2021. P.S. Does Zilla in this game resemble Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa?
Looks like a good time
Hopefully it’s no Borderlands clone.
