    1. “How desperate can they get”

After how badly the last CoD game tanked relative to expectations and with how mercilessly the Destiny 2 beta has been critically slammed by so many on console then I’d say Activision’s desperation to placate nervous shareholders is pretty extreme right now.

      1. “with how mercilessly the Destiny 2 beta has been critically slammed by so many on console”

        IT HAS? AHAHAHAHAHA NICE!

The console community’s growing a pair of balls, who’d have ever thought? 😀

  3. yo John stop uploading crap, 2 pages of garbage games that doesn’t belong on PC
and this consolized trash from Activision

can we please have articles about quality games?

      1. To be fair, what you dont like someone else might very much enjoy. Im kind of emotionless about this game. I dont care one way or the other but theres one statement that applies here that isnt subjective. HAVING MORE OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO THE CONSUMER IS NEVER A BAD THING. this holds very true on PC, where most of us play bc we dont like the option-less consoles. Having another game for PC gamers to play isnt negative in the slightest. If anything it just makes our platform more appealing and gives it more of a reason to grow. Adding the fact that the PC will have the best version of the game on an objective premise, adds to that fact. Having a stronger user-base will increase profits for devs and make MORE games appear on our platform which again leads to MORE OPTIONS FOR THE CONSUMER(thats us in case you need that spelled out for you)

        1. I wish there were more people like you in the world. An actual intelligent and reasonable thought process from someone who doesn’t like the game. Childish mentality and behavior like quickshooter just demonstrated is at least part of the reason why for some developers, the PC version of a game is just an afterthought with poor optimization.

          1. I try to stay objective. It makes it easier to squash brainless fanboys or haters when they try to kill others enjoyment of something.

    1. Why does this game not belong on PC and what exactly is a “consolized trash” ? And an even more important question is how do you pretend to know what Destiny is like if you’ve never played it ? Oh, you saw a 10 minute youtube video ? Oh, you’ve heard other people who have never played it also calling it trash? Oh, it’s cool to jump on a bandwagon without having any idea what you’re talking about ?

      1. oh look i’ve found another peasant spy
how about you go back to VG247 where they spam destiny news 24/7?

destiny is nothing than a scam, the only reason it sold is because Activision poured 500 million dollars on advertising and shillers (youtubers) to promote this crap game
it has no substance, it’s basically borderlands online with microtransactions and on disk DLC

        1. You haven’t played it. You just hoped on a bandwagon like every other moron. You don’t know anything about destiny and just repeat what you heard other people saying like a parrot who can’t think for himself.

          1. i’ve watched 20 mintue analysis of the game
the loot system, the damage sponge boss system
and the general f**kery of activision DLCing the game

if you GENUINELY enjoyed the game you’re beyond help
because that game alone composes everything that’s wrong with the AAA industry

          2. Oh, you’ve watched an analysis. That’s 100% the same as playing it. First of all, they changed the game drastically since launch, and second, that video you watched is probably from someone who didn’t play after the first 7 hours to experience the best parts or didn’t stick around for future updates to see how much they improved the game. I posted another comment on a different article explaining some things so I’m gonna repost it here for you:

Do me a favor and go watch gameplay of a raid in Destiny. If you think that’s mindless pew-pew I don’t know what to tell you. It has mechanics that require teamwork unlike any other shooter. I’m not gonna say it’s more complex than an MMO raid, like WoW, but it’s up there. If you know what to do and have mastered the mechanics you can beat a Destiny raid in 30 – 40 minutes on a speed run. But when doing it for the first time it takes most players 8 to 12 hours because first you have to figure out the mechanics of the bosses, which are like combat puzzles and then it requires coordination and every member of the team has to do his job (6 people total).

When The Taken King expansion released it overhauled the entire game. Besides a lot of other improvements to the game, all of a sudden you had mysteries and puzzles to solve in the “open world” map as well. Exploration is a big part of Destiny. Yes, there’s also a lot of mindless shooting like any MMO/grind type of game but there’s a lot more to it than that.

There’s also a lot of very cool stuff you won’t see in many other games, like the quest for a high tier weapon, called the Outbreak Prime. You can google it to find out more. Basically this quest required the entire community to solve an ARG outside of the game, which took about a week because it required people with coding and data encryption skills, plus thousands of players had to share information with each other. This resulted into a map that revealed which combination of platforms you needed to stand on inside one of the raids to activate 2 monitors in another room. Those monitors flashed a sequence of numbers that were displayed in binary and you had to know how to convert binary to decimal in order to know which platforms to jump on next to finally solve the puzzle and open the door to a chest that contained the quest for the Outbreak Prime weapon, plus other rewards.

How is that mindless ? No other game does stuff like that and it’s what makes Destiny special. Watching 10 minutes of gameplay on youtube doesn’t even begin to explain what makes this game good. It also has some of the most satisfying gun play I’ve ever played in a FPS game.

        2. dude i hate destiny too but we know nothing about the 2nd one. they might have fixed a lot of the issues. hwo about we all wait and see what happens before we grab the picthforks and act like children huh?

          1. Activision.. nuff said.
you have to be braindead to support a company which lives off mobile gaming in-app microtransactions (and AAA gaming as well)
