AMD has released a trailer for a new technology demo for which it will release its full video on November 19th. According to the red team, the “Hangar 21” Technology Demo Video will let you see the breakthrough AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture in action.
This tech demo promises to feature visuals with realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections enabled by AMD FidelityFX and Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate.
Unfortunately, we don’t know whether AMD will release this tech demo to the public. As such, it’s still unknown whether owners of the RX 6000 series GPUs will be able to run it.
AMD will release the AMD Radeon RX 6800XT on November 18th, and the RX 6900XT on December 8th. The red team has also confirmed that all existing games using Microsoft DXR API will work from the get-go on these GPUs. NVIDIA has also stated that Cyberpunk 2077 will work on any DXR-compatible GPU.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

while showing tech is good, independent reviews of the gpus is way more important.

A trailer for a tech demo ? Lol make my day! XD
looks like Unreal Engine 3. literally the old UE4 Infiltrator demo with its similar design style looked better than this already. the specular reflections are all point lights by the way (best example 0:04), something Crysis 3 already fixed in 2013 and that game’s engine scaled all the way down to Xbox 360 (albeit not with those reflections).
this demo is using ray-tracing to replicate graphics from 2010-2015.
Real world performance is out. 14fps – 16fps in Minecraft Ray Tracing at 4K
