17 Minutes of Gameplay From FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE

IGN has shared a video, showcasing 17 minutes of gameplay from the first HD-2D Final Fantasy game, FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. This video shows two boss battles that will be featured in it. So, if you are an old-school FF fan, you should definitely check it out.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is based on the first story arc of FINAL FANTASY Brave Exvius. However, this is more than a simple port of the mobile game. The developers have rebuilt and improved it to create a full RPG experience for consoles and PC.

The game features a visual style that feels both classic and modern. Dynamic camera angles and pixel-style 3D characters will make battles and story scenes more exciting and immersive.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE will have a classic RPG adventure that will unfold in a world filled with beloved FINAL FANTASY elements. You can expect to find airships, crystals, espers, and moogles woven into the fabric of the story, and so much more.

Like pretty much all the classic FF games, RESONANCE will have turn-based battles. Players can exploit enemy weaknesses to stagger the, breaking their defenses to seize extra turns and gain the upper hand with powerful Resonance attacks in cinematic battles.

Success depends on making smart choices and using the right strategy. Players can also strengthen their party with Visions. These are echoes of famous FINAL FANTASY characters that fight alongside the team. The game world will also be packed with secrets for players to discover. Players can meet the wandering swordmaster Gilgamesh, battle powerful monsters in the Colosseum, and earn valuable rewards. They can also explore the Chamber of Arms, where dangerous enemies are sealed inside legendary weapons. And for those looking for the ultimate challenge, the game will feature a battle against the mighty Ultima Weapon.

Square Enix will release FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE on October 26. On PC, the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. You can also find its official PC requirements here.
