Our dear friends over at PCGamesHardware have released a comparison between Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor’s Ultra and the High textures. As we can see, the differences are minimal – to say the least – and at this point we have to wonder what exactly is consuming this amount of VRAM, especially when The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter presented higher quality textures with way less VRAM requirements. Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor Has An In-Game Benchmark, GTX970 Reported Pushing 70FPS At 1080p
Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor is almost upon us and YouTube’s member ‘teoKrazia’ has shared a video, showing the in-game benchmark tool that will be featured in it. Moreover, toeKrazia tested Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor on an Intel i5 2500K@4.4, with a GeForce GTX 970 4GB, FoceWare 344.11 WHQL drivers and 8GB RAM. This combo run the benchmark (at 1080p with max settings) with an average framerate of 70fps (minimum framerate was 41fps). Do note that while teoKrazia has selected the Ultra textures, this HD Texture Pack has not been made available yet (meaning that those are High and not Ultra textures). Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – PC Settings Unveiled, Ultra Textures Require 6GB Of VRAM
Things are quickly getting out of hand. NeoGAF’s member ‘Regret Truth’ has shared an image from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor that shows the PC settings for it. What really surprised us, however, was the fact that: a) there will be an Ultra Texture Pack available for download in day-one and b) it will require 6GB of VRAM when these Ultra textures have been activated. Batman: Arkham Knight – New Gameplay Videos Leaked [Off-Screen]
Vimeo user ‘Superhero Report’ has leaked two videos with over 14 minutes of gameplay footage from Batman: Arkham Knight. These videos show the batmobile in action, though they do contain story spoilers (so make sure to avoid them if you don’t want to spoil the fun).
