Afro Samurai 2 Pulled From Steam, Volume 2 & 3 Cancelled, Refunds Being Offered For Volume 1
In an interview with CGM, Versus Evil’s general manager Steve Escalante revealed that the game has been pulled from Steam. Versus Evil is offering refunds for Volume 1, and has cancelled Volume 2 & 3. Do note that this applies to all versions of the game (both PC and console). The reason behind this decision? Gamers – both on PC and PS4 – simply did not like the game and as a result of that, it is now considered from Versus Evil as a commercial failure. Kyn – Viking-inspired Strategy Game – & New Afro Samurai Game Announced
Versus Evil announced today that a new Afro Samurai game, as well as a new Viking-inspired strategy game, are currently being developed. The Banner Saga Releases Today On PC & Mac
Stoic, an independent game development company, and Versus Evil will today officially release the highly anticipated RPG strategy game, The Banner Saga on PC and Mac at 19.00 GMT / 20.00 CET. The game, a huge funding success on Kickstarter, was recently announced as an IGF (Independent Games Festival) finalist for Excellence in Visual Arts, with honorable mentions for Excellence in Audio and Design.
