Portal: Survive! is a live-action short based on the hit game Portal, and the tie-in comic “Portal 2: Lab Rat.” This film is directed by Colin and Connor McGuire, and was shot for under $500 at the YouTube Space LA. Needless to say that you really need to check it out as it’s a really great short film. Steam Machines – Prototype Model Detailed – High-End Hardware Coming To Your Living Room
Valve has revealed the specs for the prototype model of its Steam Machines. According to the company, 300 units will be made based on these mixed specs, and this prototype model will be sent to beta testers. Some of those prototypes will be equipped with Nvidia’s Titan cards, while others will be packed with GTX780s, GTX760s, and GTX660s. And despite the fact that Nvidia has teamed Valve for the Steam Machines, users will be able to replace the GPUs with ones from the ‘red’ team. Okay, admit it everyone; you thought that Valve’s third announcement would be either about Half Life 3 or Left 4 Dead 3 (or another game). Go ahead, admit it, don’t lie to us.
