Theory Interactive has released a new trailer for its PC exclusive puzzler, Reset. According to the team, the game will also feature open world environments, as well as support for Oculus Rift. There are seven days left to Reset’s IndieGoGo campaign and during these days, the team needs to raise €40K in order to reach its €65K goal. PC Exclusive “Reset” Teases Open World Environment With New Screenshot, New Trailer Incoming

Theory Interactive has just released a new screenshot for its upcoming PC exclusive title, Reset. This new screenshot teases the game’s open world environment, and a new trailer – that will be released by the end of this week – will be focused on the game’s open environments. Reset looks absolutely gorgeous and its IndieGoGo campaign is currently facing some troubles. The team has so far raised €24K and needs to reach €65K in 14 days. Theory Interactive and Nvidia have revealed a new in-game screenshot for the amazing PC exclusive puzzler, Reset. Reset is a sci-fi noir, a mystery, a first person puzzle game. The game is infused with mind boggling puzzles, a grippingly haunting but beautiful story and an unparalleled immersive atmosphere, and sports some of the best visuals we’ve ever seen. When Theory Interactive released the debut trailer of Reset, a lot of people began wondering who the hell was Theory Interactive, and how it has managed to achieve visuals that can rival those found in triple-A titles like Crysis 3. Well, a couple of days ago we had the pleasure to interview Mikko Kallinen, co-founder, programmer and composer at Theory, who has previously worked at Futuremark. Last week, Theory Interactive released a gameplay teaser for its upcoming first person puzzle game, Reset. A lot of people – included us – were impressed by its visuals and wanted to learn more about this PC exclusive title. In an interview with Mikko Kallinen, co-founder, programmer and composer at Theory Interactive who worked previously at Futuremark, we found out that Reset is powered by Nvidia’s PhysX middleware and that it features a world area of 16 square kilometers. When Theory Interactive released its debut trailer for Reset, a lot of people could not believe the image fidelity achieved by this indie title. How could an indie title rival all other triple-A games? Was that even possible? Well, today we got the first gameplay trailer of Reset, proving that what was showcased a couple of months ago was not pre-rendered stuff. Yes yes, there is noticeable aliasing and unfortunately the flashlight does not cast shadows (something that hopefully will get addressed). Back in April, we informed you about Reset, a Single player co-op first person puzzle game with emphasis on story and atmosphere. Reset looked stunning and better than anything we’d seen so far. Fast forward a couple of months and here we are today with a new tech trailer and screenshots for it. Even though the water is static on this tech demo, we have to say that the lighting system looks so… real. In all honesty, Reset could very well be the most impressive PC title – in terms of visuals – surpassing even Crysis 3 or other triple-A titles.
