The Bearded Ladies have released a first gameplay video of their new IP, the tactical strategy game CORRUPTION 2029. The video explains the background story set in a dystopian America and shows several ways to solve conflicts against the inhuman enemies that got infected by the CORRUPTION. Tactical strategy game, CORRUPTION 2029, releases on February 17th, first screenshots, PC requirements

The Bearded Ladies, creators of 2018’s award-winning Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, has announced CORRUPTION 2029. CORRUPTION 2029 is a new tactical strategy IP that will come out on February 17th. The title will launch for Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, and below you can find its first screenshots. Funcom and The Bearded Ladies remove Denuvo anti-tamper tech from Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Now here is a pleasant surprise. Funcom and The Bearded Ladies have released a new patch for Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden that, among other things, removes Denuvo. As such, this tactical XCOM-inspired game is no longer plagued by the controversial anti-tamper tech that a lot of PC gamers hate and boycott. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Review

I was never a big fan of turn-based combat and isometric role playing games until I had the pleasure of playing XCOM and Divinity Original Sin. These games were frigging awesome sauce and I am almost certain Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden’s developers will agree with me. The Bearded Ladies (yes that is their glorious name) are the people behind it and if we want to be precise, the game is based on the Swedish (the devs are also Swedish btw) table-top RPG. The initial plan for the game was to be open-world but thankfully the devs decided against it. This is a niche game that borrows a lot of things from XCOM and gives it a very interesting twist.
