Square Enix trademarks “Seekers of Adoulin” , incoming expansion/add-on for Final Fantasy XI

Seems that a new expansion/add-on is underway for Square Enix’s MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI as Square Enix has trademarked ‘Seekers of Adoulin’. In case you’re unaware of, Adoulin is a small island off the west coast of the Quon continent in Final Fantasy XI, therefore we can safely assume that ‘Seekers of Adoulin’ will either be an expansion or an add-on for Final Fantasy XI. Square Enix has released their latest puzzle game, Quantum Conundrum. Quantum Conundrum is now available on Steam and for those interested there is a Season Pass that includes the full game, soundtrack, and two upcoming DLC’s. After Square Enix’s reveal of the groundbreaking Agnis Philosophy tech demo, a lot of people began wondering whether that was truly real-time footage or not. Let’s not forget that when the video starts, we’re welcomed with a message which read that this is just a video from a real-time tech demo. E3 2012 – Square Enix presents an impressive tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’

Following Nvidia’s drooling Dawn Tech Demo, today we present you Square Enix’s latest tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’. Agni’s Philosophy was created with a new engine from Luminous Studios and shows off some gorgeous real-time graphics that come really close to pre-rendered CG visuals. As the title of the video suggests, this engine will most likely be used for a new Final Fantasy game. Although there are no further details about, we do know that the engine is scaleable and supports a variety of platforms (from PC to tablets). Special thanks to our reader ‘Frank’ for spotting it. E3 2012 – Tomb Raider – Microsoft Conference Gameplay Footage

Crystal Dynamics showcased Tomb Raider at Microsoft’s E3 2012 Conference and you can watch below some brand new gameplay footage of it. As it’s pretty obvious, this is an Uncharted clone in every possible way. Apart from that though, this new Tomb Raider game comes with good combat mechanics, great physics effects (although at the end of the footage, the environmental physics are all over the place), destructible environments and vertical combat gameplay. Tomb Raider – E3 2012 Crossroads Trailer; Coming in March 5th 2013

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the full new “Crossroads” E3 trailer for Tomb Raider and announced that the game will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5, 2013. This new Tomb Raider game is basically a reboot of the series and looks very similar to Uncharted. Don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing.
