Now here is a nice surprise. A few hours ago, Rockstar released a new patch for the PC version of L.A. Noire. This new patch adds DX11 support to this unique third person adventure game and it improves performance on many Windows Vista and Windows 7 setups using DX11 graphics cards. Unfortunately, DX10 owners won’t be able to take advantage of this new renderer. This update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its complete changelog after the jump. Continue reading L.A. Noire PC gets a DX11 Patch→
It’s a fact that GTA IV looks awesome with iCEnhancer 2.0 but what about the good old ENBSeries mods? Can they match Keilany’s work or not? Well, it seems that they can overcome it. Modder ‘onebuck’ has released some screenshots from his ENBSeries settings and some custom car models. These screenies are almost real and nothing can match them. Reflections, shadows, lighting… everything is top notch. The camera angle really helps to give the impression that these are real photos but still, these shots showcase the big difference between current generation consoles and PCs. Will the next-generation consoles offer this kind of image fidelity? We certainly hope so. Enjoy! Continue reading GTA IV enters photorealistic levels; new screenshots from custom ENBSeries settings→
Hayssam Keilany has just released a new video that showcases what iCEnhancer 2.0 was supposed to look like, before people started asking for contrast & more pronounced colors. This version, called Natural, will be released at a later date and will feature some small changes – like the Sun that looks like a huge ball. Are you wondering which version looks best? Well, Grand Theft Auto 4 is looking great with both of them so it really comes down to your personal taste. Enjoy! And it’s finally out everyone. Hayssam Keilany’s awesome iCEnhancer 2.0 for GTA IV is out now and can be downloaded from its official website. In addition, aimedehaire and YeardlyDiamond1 have released the official ‘Release’ trailers for it (aimedehaire’s video is bugged due to the Video Editor, reflections are working fine in-game). And for the love of God, just watch YeardlyDiamond1’s trailer as it’s mind-blowing. Seriously now, I’m speechless with what Keilany has managed to achieve. As we’ve mentioned earlier, this latest version of iCEnhancer is not very heavy on the game compared to its previous ones and if your computer meets the suggested system requirements for the game, you will be able to run it with medium settings. Oh, and did we mention that iCEnhancer 2.0 is compatible with every version of GTAIV? Enjoy everyone!
