As promised, the latest BETA version of GTA IV: San Andreas has just been released. According to the team behind it, in this new third beta, a number of new features have been added, including, but not limited to: multiplayer, races, gang wars, improved Setup and Launcher, improved graphics, map, vehicles, sounds, peds, shaders, collision materials, timecycle and plenty of other improved stuff to check out. Get hyped San Andreas fans as the team behind the promising GTA IV mod, GTA IV: San Andreas, has released its launch trailer. In case you were unaware of, GTA IV: San Andreas is a total conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto IV and The Episodes from Liberty City, which will bring back the good old San Andreas map into GTA IV, using the powerful RAGE Engine. We do know that some of you were disappointed with GTA V’s absence from yesterday’s Take-Two conference. A lot of gamers believed that we could be getting a release date, but as you may have guessed, that never happened. GTA IV’s modding community is importing to Rockstar’s sandbox game literally everything. After Portal 2’s bots, here comes Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse. This mod/custom character is created by modder ‘indirivacua’ and can be downloaded from here. You can also find a video from it below. Be warned though – this is a violent Mickey Mouse, meaning that he’s using guns and shoots at people. In other words, this mod might destroy your childhood. Electronic Arts and Take-Two today announced preliminary financial results for their first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2012. According to the reports, Battlefield 3 Premium Service has managed to sell over 1.3M subscriptions, whereas Max Payne 3 has sold over 3M copies. Take-Two has also revealed the release dates of both Bioshock Infinite and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Bioshock Infinite is coming to current generation consoles and PC on February 26th, whereas XCOM: Enemy Unknown is coming to the same platforms on October 12th. And even though a lot of PC gamers hate Origin, EA’s platform for downloading digital games and services has registered over 21 million users. Rockstar revealed today that the Local Justice DLC of Max Payne 3 will be coming to the PC on August 9th. The Local Justice DLC features three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. The DLC is currently available on X360 and PSN and you can view below some screenshots from the PC version of it. In addition, the Special Edition Pack of Max Payne 3 PC will be available alongside the Local Justice DLC and will feature the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable fan favorite multiplayer characters including Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, plus the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. Hayssam Keilany has released a new screenshot from the upcoming ‘2.1P’ version of his amazing iCEnhancer mod for GTA IV. This new image sports the new AA technique that will be featured in iCEnhancer, as well as tweaked settings for more ‘warm’ environments and colorful skies. A lot of PC gamers have asked Hayssam Keilany for his personal configuration file of iCEnhancer 2.1 and the modder has decided to release it. This version of iCEnhancer will be called iCEnhancer 2.1.1 or iCEnhancer 2.1P. Before doing that though, Keilany has released a couple of screenshots to showcase his personal settings.
