Gears of War 4 – PC Graphics Settings revealed, supports Async Compute, Tiled Resources & MultiGPUs

During Gamescom 2016, Microsoft showcased the PC version of Gears of War 4, and HomeCinema-FR was able to capture its graphics settings. The good news here is that The Coalition has included a huge number of options that PC gamers can tweak. Gears of War 4 – Official PC Requirements Revealed

Microsoft has just revealed the official PC requirements for Gears of War 4. According to the specs, PC gamers will need at least an AMD FX-6300 or an Intel i5 with 8GB of RAM, Windows 10, 80GB of free hard-disk space and a Radeon R7 260X or an NVIDIA 750Ti. Remedy claims that Quantum Break’s Win10 version will be identical to the Steam version

Quantum Break – Win10 version will not receive any new patches, DX11 support unlikely coming to it

Yesterday, we informed you about Quantum Break coming to Steam. This Steam version will be a Win32 application and will support both DX11 and DX12. Naturally, we wondered whether Remedy would add support for DX11 in Quantum Break’s Win10 version (that is currently sold via Windows Store). And according to Remedy’s Head of Communications, Thomas Puha, that seems unlikely. Epic’s Tim Sweeney: “MS will slowly force-patch Win10 to make Steam progressively worse & more broken”

We all know that Tim Sweeney, co-founder of Epic Games and co-creator of the Unreal Engine, is not a big fan of Microsoft’s Universal Window Platform (UWP).
