Kojima Productions’ boss Hideo Kojima announced – at this afternoon’s Metal Gear 25th anniversary event at Tokyo Midtown – that Metal Gear Solid will be coming to the big screen. Avi Arad, the man behind a lot of Marvel hero movies such as Iron Man, Blade, Spider-Man 2002, and The Amazing Spider-Man, will produce this Metal Gear movie and both Sony and Columbia Pictures will back this project up. Konami has released a new trailer for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 that showcases all of the great new features shown at Gamers Night Brazil. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 looks better than its predecessors and Konami has unveiled that a second demo will be released next week. Hopefully, it will be as good as the previous demo. Konami Digital has announced it has extended its exclusive agreement with UEFA for the use of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions in its Pro Evolution Soccer series. The publisher has also bolstered various licences for use within its forthcoming PES 2013 title, with the Spanish league licensed in its entirety, while all the club’s from Italy’s highest league are also included. Konami has released a new set of screenshots and a Gamescom 2012 trailer for its upcoming soccer game, PES 2013. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 promises to be the best PES game ever. Yes yes, we’ve heard this claims and before, however, its demo looked – and played – better than any of its previous parts. This is the first game in which Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka is not involved, and might as well be better than its predecessors. PES 2013 is scheduled for release later this year. Enjoy! The demo is currently available to all platforms and according to its press release, PES 2013 marks major advancements for the popular soccer game including new game mechanics such as PES FullControl, where players are given total control over every pass, shot and even first touch to the ball. Germany, England, Portugal, and Italy showcase European football, while Santos FC, SC International, Fluminense and Flamengo Flamengo are available in the Copa Libertadores mode.
