New Screenshots For 2D/3D Puzzle Platformer ‘Contrast’

Focus Home Interactive released some new screenshots for Contrast. During E3 2013, the game was showcased and players were able to take on the role of Dawn, an imaginary friend, in the oneiric universe fueled by Didi’s imagination. Didi, an adventurous nine year old is hopeful of reuniting her parents as she uncovers truths and drama in this charming adventure. Contrast is a breakthrough 2D/3D puzzle platformer, in which the player can shift between the striking 3D fantasy world into the mysterious 2D shadowscape. Mars: War Logs – PC Version Gets New English Voices, Console Versions Dated

Focus Home Interactive announced that a new update for Mars: War Logs PC has just been released. As the press release reads, Mars: War Logs was released in late April and, if most players who bought the Spiders Studio title liked the game itself, they were disappointed with the narrative element because the English version strayed too far from the original French. The general feeling was that the translation didn’t stick closely enough to the original French story and dialog. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments Will Be Powered By Unreal Engine 3, Tech Demo Released

Now this definitely passed under our radar. Focus Home Interactive revealed last week that its latest Sherlock Holmes game will be powered by Unreal Engine 3, and released a tech demo for it. With Crimes & Punishments, the development studio Frogwares will give up its home-made engine in order to switch to the well-known Unreal Engine 3 from Epic. This choice will first allow the game to benefit from bigger environments that are more gorgeous and more varied, but it also allows the development of new investigation mechanics, that the previous engine’s limitations did not permit.
