Cevat Yerli admits that Crysis 2 had no huge levels due to the success of other linear games

PC gamers, this is a good day today as Cevat Yerli has finally spilled the beans and revealed – in an interview with Eurogamer – why Crysis 2 did not feature huge levels, similar to those found in the first Crysis game. According to Cevat, Crytek believed that the sandbox experienced (offered by both Far Cry and Crysis games) was perceived as something of an elite gamer kind of thing. Crytek got disappointed as other, more linear, games were selling better than Crysis and decided to join them. Mass Effect fans, rejoice; Mass Effect 3 gets a better, fan-made ending via the MEHEM mod

Okay, we know that a lot of you were disappointed with Mass Effect 3’s ending. Yes, BioWare released an extended cut for its end, but most of you were not satisfied with it, right? Well look what we’ve got for you today. Spotted by our reader GhostRiderLSOV, MEHEM is a mod that promises to alter the game’s ending to a somehow, better one. Even though this mod is available only for the PC version of Mass Effect 3, we strongly suggest PS3 and X360 owners to take a look at it, as they may find this fan-made ending better than the official one. Crysis 3 Gets A New Trailer That Showcases The Hunter Multiplayer Mode

Crytek has released a new trailer for Crysis 3, showcasing the games heart-pounding Hunter multiplayer mode. Featuring five two-minute rounds, Hunter mode is 2 vs. 10 on console (2 vs. 14 on PC) and starts off by pitting 2 Hunters against CELL Troopers. Outfitted with enhanced Nanosuits and armed with the all-new Predator composite bow, Hunters must stalk CELL Troopers, systematically taking them out one by one. The twist is that once a CELL Trooper is killed, they respawn as a Hunter, slowly tipping the balance until the round ends or there are no CELL Troopers left. Star Wars: The Old Republic Goes Free-To-Play On November 15th

Electronic Arts announced today that the global launch date of the Star Wars: The Old Republic Free-to-Play option will be November 15, 2012. This release will be simultaneous across all of the territories and countries where The Old Republic is available. The new Free-to-Play option allows gamers to experience all of the class storylines through to Level 50, the current level cap, at no charge and introduces the new Cartel Market! Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC – First Official Screenshots Released

BioWare has released the first set of screenshots for the upcoming Omega DLC of Mass Effect 3. The Omega DLC will be unleashed on November 27th, will be priced at 15$ and according to BioWare, this will be the biggest DLC to date for Mass Effect 3 and will be twice the size of the largest Mass Effect 3 DLC so far. Mass Effect Trilogy is a compilation of all three Mass Effect games in one box, and includes a number of DLCs (tip: not all DLCs are included in this package).
