GRID: Autosport – PC System Requirements Revealed
Codemasters has revealed the PC system specs for its upcoming racer, GRID: Autosport. According to the Codies, PC gamers will at least need a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 15GB of free HDD space. GRID: Autosport will not support Windows XP or DX9. We should note that the PC is the lead platform for GRID: Autosport, meaning that the Codies may be able to further optimize its engine and offer us an amazing product. Capcom & Codemasters To Remove GFWL From Their Games
Great news for PC gamers as Capcom and Codemasters are going – or at least planning – to remove GFWL from their titles. As Codies revealed, it was really impressed with what 2K Games had done to Bioshock 2, thus the team is looking into removing GFWL and replacing with Steamworks. Though there is nothing concrete at this moment, it is obvious that both of the aforementioned companies are willing to step in and free their games from GFWL before it’s too late (GFWL services will be discontinued on July 2014). F1 2013 – PC Performance Analysis
Back in 2011, we claimed that F1 2011 was a title suffering from various performance issues. Due to its multi-platform nature, F1 2011 handled some graphical features via the CPU and there was no performance difference between a tri-core and a quad-core CPU. Not only that, but the performance difference between a dual-core and a quad-core was around 6fps, meaning that the game’s engine was unable to properly use more than two CPU cores. Fast forward two years and here we are with F1 2013 – a game that shows performance differences between tri-cores and quad-cores, and a game running way better than its predecessors. F1 2013 Is Now Available
Codemasters announced today that F1 2013 is available on PC, X360 and PS3, and has released a launch trailer that can be viewed below. As Codies noted, this launch trailer showcases the game’s latest step forward in visuals, which deliver the ultimate immersion in the 2013 season, alongside ground-breaking new classic content. F1 2013 – Jules Bianchi’s Hotlap in Korea Gameplay Video
Codemasters has released a new video for its upcoming F1 title, F1 2013, featuring a hotlap for Jules Bianchi in a Marussia car in Korea. F1 2013 promises to give Formula 1 fans the chance to compete against legendary drivers in cars from different eras of Formula One with a range of classic content from the 1980s.
