Daigo ‘The Beast’ Umehara Beats Infiltration & Xian In Recent Events (EVO 2012 & 2013 Champions)

Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition

Fact: We are huge fans of Daigo Umehara (we love Tokido and Infiltration, but Daigo has a special place in our hearts). Fact: We were amazed by Infiltration’s performance at both EVO 2012 and Street Fighter 25th Anniversary tournaments. Fact: We were disappointed with Daigo’s performance at EVO 2013 (as he was making the same mistakes over and over again). Fact: During PAX Prime’s and TGS’ SSF4: AE events (hosted by Mad Catz), Daigo beat both Infiltration and Xian. Now some may say that those events were not as big as EVO, but what’s important here is that Daigo has come back from the dead. Not only that, but EVO 2014 will be more interesting than ever (and we are curious to see what Infiltration and Xian will come up with to defeat Daigo). Daigo has also beaten Justin Wong, and you can find all the aforementioned matches below. Enjoy! Lost Planet 3 – PC Performance Analysis

Lost Planet 3 v2

When Lost Planet 3 was showcased for the first time, everyone thought that it was a Dead Space wannabe. And you know what? You can’t really blame them as Lost Planet 3 shares an identical environment with Visceral Games’ third-person game. Not only that, but there are even more similarities between these two games; from the opening scene to the inventory HUD and the claustrophobic feeling (Lost Planet was an action game and not a horror-wannabe title). Lost Planet 3 was definitely inspired by Dead Space, though it also comes with some additional features such as mechs, a grappling hook, more action sequences than its ‘rival’, a main character that looks like Nicolas Cage, a generic camp, and a really horrible lip-syncing system.

Ultra Street Fighter IV PC Will Use Steamworks Instead Of GFWL, Simultaneously Release Hinted

Ultra Street Fighter IV
Capcom’s Digital Media Specialist, Haunts, has revealed some interesting details about the PC version of Ultra Street Fighter IV. According to Haunts, Ultra Street Fighter IV will be dropping GFWL for Steamworks. This, of course, did not shock us as Capcom has been using Steamworks in almost all its latest PC titles. And we are glad for that. After all, one of the worst things of both SSF4: AE and SF4 was GFWL (for a lot of reasons).
