It appears that the fan-made remake of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 2 Reborn, forced Capcom to officially reveal interest in remaking it. Resident Evil 0 – Prototype To HD Remaster Video Comparison
Capcom has released a video comparison between the original N64 version and the upcoming HD Remaster version of Resident Evil 0. Unfortunately, this comparison does not include the Wii version that featured better visuals than the N64 version (apparently the video does pack some scenes from the Wii version, so kudos to Dark Gio). Resident Evil 4 HD Project – New Comparison Screenshots Revealed
Chris and Albert released some new comparison screenshots between Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition and their HD modded version that is currently under development. The duo has been able to recreate a lot of textures in HD, turning this blurry classic title into a modern-day title. Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster – E3 2015 Demo Playthrough
Capcom showcased Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster at this year’s E3 event, and today the Japanese company shared its demo playthrough. Resident Evil 0 HD takes the fear-inducing atmosphere from the original 2002 release and transforms it with stunning new HD visuals, improved sound, widescreen support and an optional modernized control system. Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition versus Devil May Cry 4 – DirectX 10 Comparison Screenshots
Capcom has just released the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 for the PC, and below you can find some comparison screenshots between this new version and the old DX10 one. As we can see, some new graphical effects have been added like sun-shafts, bloom, haze, transparent crystals and motion blur. However, we have to note that the new motion blur effect actually ‘hurts’ the game’s visuals as everything looks really blurry (due to the quick camera movements). Thankfully there is a workaround but you’ll need a HEX editor. The Special Edition images are on the left, whereas the original DX10 images are on the right. Enjoy!
