ArmA 3 – Gamescom 2012 Screenshots

Bohemia Interactive has released some new Gamescom 2012 screenshots for its upcoming military sim first person shooter title, ArmA 3. As always, ArmA 3 looks great, though we are kind of spoiled by Crytek’s work with Crysis 3 textures. On the other hand, ArmA 3 has bigger environments that are based on a real-life locations, with more advanced balistics and the ability to fly jets and helicopters in them. DayZ Officially Goes Standalone

At long last. Dean Hall has just announced that DayZ will be developed as a stand-alone game by Bohemia Interactive, with him as the project lead. This is amazing as it proves our earlier claims that DayZ is the modern-day Counter-Strike. Yes, these two mods share different themes but the impact they had in the gaming industry was identical. ArmA 3 will be playable at this year’s GamesCom

Great news for PC gamers attending this year’s GamesCom, as Bohemia’s military sim FPS will be playable. According to the company, the latest build of their game will be available, alongside the PC and X360 versions of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Arma 3, the latest installment of the tactical military simulation game from independent developers Bohemia Interactive, creators of the award-winning mil-sim series Arma. ArmA 2 Patch 1.62 Features AI Improvements and Improves DayZ Stability

Bohemia Interactive has released a new update for their first person military sim game, ArmA 2. This new update comes with Multiplayer optimizations, security and server improvements, improved stability via numerous tweaks and fixes, the addition of new video options (Post-Process Anti-Aliasing, Alpha To Coverage), AI improvements and numerous bug fixes, resolved issues with several training missions, as well as the addition of various new script commands for content makers. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is coming to X360 and PC this September

Video game publisher and distributor Mastertronic today officially confirmed the forthcoming release of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission for Xbox 360 and PC in France, Benelux and Nordic regions as well as UK on 27 September 2012. Moreover, a new public demo of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will be playable at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, this 16-19 August at Hall 9 – Booth A22. ArmA 2’s total conversion ‘DayZ’ hits 500K players

And it’s time to celebrate. Dean Hall, DayZ’s creator, has just announced that his amazing zombie mod has surpassed over 500K players. This basically means that DayZ has outsold the game it’s required to run on. Quite an achievement, right?
