A lot of Prey 2 fans hoped to see – or at least hear something about it – in this year’s QuakeCon. Well, bad news everyone as Prey 2 was not present. Still, some screenshots were leaked a couple of hours ago from what seems to be an early build of the game. Bethesda has not confirmed anything yet, so take them with a grain of salt. Bethesda announced today – via its Vice President, Pete Hines – that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be delayed to 2014. According to Hines, Bethesda felt that the game deserved ‘some additional time for polish’ and that’s the reason behind this delay. Wolfenstein: The New Order was originally planned for a Q4 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. A release for next-gen platforms (Xbox One and PS4) was also planned for 2014. Bethesda has released a new set of screenshots for The Evil Within. Developed by Shinji Mikami – creator of the seminal Resident Evil series – and Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within promises to embody the meaning of pure survival horror. Players will experience a disturbing reality as they try to break free from warped machinations that could only exist in the most horrifying worlds. The game is powered by a customized version of the id Tech 5 engine and is planned for a 2014 release on PC, X360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One. Enjoy! Earlier today, YouTube’s member ‘Scotty Mcbotley’ posted a video containing 10 minutes of gameplay footage from The Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda was quick to react, however the video got leaked and is currently available in a lot of video sharing websites. As you may have guessed, this is footage from an early build, meaning that this does not represent the final product. And for the time being, we’ll give Zenimax Online the benefit of doubt. Modders Aron and CaBaL have released some new HD texture packs for Bethesda’s open-world RPG, Skyrim. Aron’s pack adds a high quality texture which enhances the tundra & reach landscapes with different details like plants, lichen, etc, while CaBaL’s pack adds a set of 120 + textures for whole Whiterun (99% are created from scratch 1% of vanilla reworked normal maps). Bethesda revealed today the final DLC for Dishonored, called ‘The Brigmore Witches’. In The Brigmore Witches, players will continue their journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, and bring his twisted narrative that began with The Knife of Dunwall to a close.
