AMD Catalyst 11.11a performance driver released; performance gains in Batman, RAGE and Skyrim

AMD released yesterday a performance driver that is based on the Catalyst 11.11. This new driver is compatible with the AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series and 5000 series and brings gains in Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim and RAGE. Therefore, make sure to download and install it if you are playing these games. Catalyst 11.11a also comes with some fixes for Battlefield 3. Those interested can download this driver from here. AMD Catalyst Application Profile – 11.9 CAP4 Is Out Now

AMD released the latest Catalyst Application Profile for their cards. This new CAP provides great CrossFire scaling and resolves stuttering issues when running in CrossFire mode in Battlefield 3. This means that all those Intel users will be able to enjoy DICE’s little gem with HT enabled. Hell yeah. In addition, this new application profile improves the CrossFire performance in Deus Ex: Missing Link, F1 2011, Dead Island and the DX9 version of Batman: Arkham City. AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview – Combined BF3 and Rage Performance Driver Released

AMD has just released the preview version of their upcoming highly anticipated drivers, Catalyst 11.10. Why are these drivers highly anticipated you ask? But because they feature performance gains for both Battlefield 3 and RAGE. We should note however that although the release notes state that there are minor increases with Crossfire systems, these preview drivers does not include a proper Crossfire profile. AMD Catalyst ‘RAGE’ Performance Driver Released

AMD has just released a performance driver for their graphics cards as iD Software’s latest FPS game, RAGE, is out now to some countries. According to the release notes, this driver improves significantly the game’s performance on single GPU configurations. AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview driver; AMD’s drivers for Battlefield 3

Following Nvidia’s example, AMD has just released the 11.10 preview version of their Catalyst drivers. This latest version is what all AMD owners and fans of DICE’s FPS were waiting for, as they mainly improve performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta. Next-Generation Radeon Graphics Cards Plans Reaffirmed For This Year

It was about time. Although the gaming industry is literally stuck with current generation consoles, AMD (and supposedly Nvidia) still plans to release this year their next-generation graphics. And it comes as no surprise that Advanced Micro Devices confirmed on Tuesday at its AMD Fusion Development Summit a new breed of GPUs is coming later this year.
