It appears that AMD is back. The red team has lifted the embargo for the AMD Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800XT and as we can see, AMD has finally delivered a competitive product. Here are the first official AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Ray Tracing gaming benchmarks

Last month AMD officially announced its RDNA 2-based flagship Big Navi graphics cards, the Radeon RX 6900XT, RX 6800XT and RX 6800, respectively. Even though the RDNA 2 Live event showcased benchmarks that favored the Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT, and Radeon RX 6800 over the competition, none of them included metrics related to ray tracing. AMD has no plans for a hybrid CPU Core architecture reminiscent of ARM’s big.LITTLE topology/design

As some of you may already know that Arm’s Big.Little heterogeneous multi-core CPU technology has been quite successful in Google Android-based smartphones. Intel plans to implement similar hybrid CPU core architecture with its upcoming Desktop PC Alder Lake-S CPU lineup, which is going to land up next year.
