Bioshock: Infinite – PC Version Detailed, System Requirements Revealed

Our reader Sid Spyker has informed us about the PC requirements of Bioshock: Infinite, that were revealed on Irrational Games’ blog. According to the developers, the PC version won’t suffer from any kind of artificial mouse smoothing, and PC gamers will be able to control sensitivity or toggle mouse acceleration in the options screen. Borderlands 2 – Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt DLC Coming On January 15th

Gearbox announced that the next DLC of Borderlands 2, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, will be released on January 15th on all platforms. In addition, the company has released a new trailer for it that can be viewed below. According to its description, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt teams the Vault Hunters up with Pandora’s most dignified huntsman, but the expedition quickly goes awry thanks to the interference of a new, unknown enemy. Bioshock Infinite – First Few Minutes of Irrational Games’ FPS

Irrational Games has released a new video for Bioshock Infinite that features the first five (or so) minutes from it. Players assume the role of Booker DeWitt as he begins to unravel the mystery that lies behind the floating city of Columbia. New Borderlands 2 Update Releases Today

Gearbox announced that a new update for Borderlands 2 will be rolled out on all platforms today. According to the changelog – which can be viewed below – the PC version will get various fixes to some annoying issues and bugs, such as the missing decals when framerate limiter was set to 30. Moreover, the bug that prevented profiles to save when they were already corrupted on startup has been addressed. Great news for those hating Games For Windows Live, as Irrational Games’ third part in the acclaimed Bioshock series will not be using it. Bioshock Infinite – PC Graphical Settings Revealed – DX10 & DX11 Support Confirmed – FOV Slider Spotted

Our friends over at PCGamer have unveiled the graphical settings for the PC version of Bioshock: Infinite. According to PCGamer, Bioshock: Infinite was showcased this week on an octo-core CPU (AMD FX-8120) with a single Radeon 7900 series GPU (though we don’t know the exact model that was used) and 16GB of RAM. Bioshock Infinite PC supports DX10, as well as DX11. Still, we don’t know whether Irrational Games will go ahead and include any tessellation effects or not. Bioshock: Infinite Delayed To March 26th – New Screenshots Unveiled

And here we go again. Another triple-A title, another delay. Well, at least the game has been delayed for all platforms and not only for the PC. During a press preview event that was held this week, Ken Levine revealed that Bioshock: Infinite has been delayed one month and is now planned for a March 26th launch. 2K Games and Firaxis Games announced today that the Slingshot Content Pack, the first add-on content for the critically acclaimed XCOM: Enemy Unknown, is now available for purchase for PC, the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Slingshot Content Pack is available for $6.99 (PlayStation Network) / 560 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) / $6.99 (Windows PC).
