The shadPS4 team has shared on its Discord server the first screenshots of Bloodborne running on PC via its PlayStation 4 emulator. This is a huge milestone as, for the first time, Bloodborne can actually go in-game. Yep, you read that right. Bloodborne on PC may soon happen.
Not only that but Dark Souls Remastered can now pass the Character Select Screen. Similarly to Bloodborne, it can now go in-game. And that’s not all. It appears that Dark Souls Remastered already runs with 60fps.
Do note, though, that Dark Souls Remastered is NOT playable. Although it shows great signs, it will immediately crash when moving the character. I also expect it to have a lot of visual glitches. Still, I’m impressed with the fact that DS Remastered can even run on shadPS4.
As I’ve already said, shadPS4 is the most promising PlayStation 4 emulator for PC. And, if its team keeps improving it at this incredible pace, we might be able to get a 15fps in Bloodborne by the end of 2024.
Speaking of Bloodborne, I can’t see a lot of graphics artifacts which is great news. I know, I know. All we have right now are only two screenshots from one location. Still, this is the first time we see ANY PS4 emulator running it. It’s really mind-blowing.
shadPS4 came out of nowhere and has floored the competition. The other six PlayStation 4 emulators (psOff, fpPS4, Spine, RPCSX, Kyty and GPCS4) are way behind shadPS4.
Just a few days ago, the emulator was able to run Red Dead Redemption Remastered with 30fps. As we showcased, emulation wasn’t perfect yet. Still, we might soon be able to play both RDR Remastered and Bloodborne on PC with it.
Those interested can download shadPS4 and try it from this link.
And that is that. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted about the emulator’s progress. And man… things are going to get really interesting in the next couple of months.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

its weird how there is still no pc version.
The weirdest thing is there's not even a next-gen version for PS5 (Outside of mods) IMO they're waiting for the perfect window to make a remaster or a remake so they could sell the game at full price again
I think its because of scheduling and prioritization before Sony's leadership shift towards PC releases. I imagine that before having the game compatible on ps5 and playable via streaming was fine enough for the previous management and that any prioritization was put towards a possible remake while fromsoft then started working full steam on other projects following.
They're probably going to release a remake of Bloodborne as a launch title for the PS6 to push hardare sales, much like what they did with the Demon's Souls remake for the PS5.

Emulators does what Sony don't.
damn eoy pc bloodborne might be a real thing
By the time the clowns over at SONY start developing a PC port for BloodBorne, it will already be playable via emulation.
This is going faster than I expected. I'm starting to feel the need for PS4 dump links in the ROMs section of the Internet Archive.
I would like to play the Demon's Souls PS3 rom, but not with a controller, i'm already familiar playing these games on keyboard and mouse.
