NEOPLE has released the June 26th Update for The First Berserker: Khazan, which adds support for AMD FSR 4.0. From what I can see, the patch also packs a number of balance tweaks and QoL improvements. So, let’s take a look at them.
As the devs noted, if your system meets the FSR 4.0 requirements, the game will automatically use AMD FSR 4.0. The in-game setting will still display AMD FSR 3.0. However, the game will use FSR 4.0. Alternatively, if you’re using the AMD Radeon RX 9000 series and have Adrenalin driver version 25.6.1 or later, you can enable it via the Adrenalin driver settings.
The June 26th Patch adds broken walls and floor debris to Daphrona’s chamber in the Imperial Palace. It also fixes a bug where monsters looked weird when hit by the “Wind Piercer: Mark” skill. Now, the camera won’t spin on its own when you use a skill. Also, the “Potent Blow” skill works faster if you use it right after the Greatsword skill “Mortal Blow.”
And that’s not all. This update also fixes some bugs. One fix stops players from getting stuck on the ground during the main mission called “Vaisar Gate.” Another fix stops the game from crashing when players quickly press the Gear Screen button after skipping a cutscene. It also fixes a problem where defeated Corrupted Creations didn’t drop items in a certain area in Vitalon.
The devs have also made some changes to the game’s Challenge and Hardcore difficulty settings. Stamina Cost during Sprint has been reduced by half in Challenge Mode. In Hardcore Mode, Stamina DMG Increase Rate has been reduced from 30% to 15%. Brutal Attack DMG Increase has been removed, and DMG Received Increase Rate has been reduced from 50% to 20%.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
