baldur's gate 3 new feature-3

Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch #4 is now live, featuring over 1000 fixes, tweaks and changes

Larian Studios has shared the fourth major update for Baldur’s Gate 3 which packs over 1000 fixes, tweaks and changes. This is a huge update, so keep reading to find out its main/key features.

In Patch #4, the developers have added a new feature to help people with color blindness. This feature lets you pick from three options: protanopia, deuteranopia, or tritanopia. You can use this feature to change the colors of character outlines, circles, character map markers, turn order portraits, and party portraits to better suit your vision.

Update #4 also brings some important changes to the game. For instance, it makes Scratch’s fetch behavior better. Moreover, it adds more autosave points in the Shadow-Cursed Lands and some Wyrm’s Crossing and Lower City areas. Plus, it fixes a problem where attacking someone while you’re invisible would still get you noticed by a guard and start a conversation if there was a civilian nearby.

Players can also expect some visual and combat improvements. The developers have added new idle animations for characters like Minthara, Halsin, Shadowheart, and Lae’zel at the camp. They also fixed a problem where enemies wouldn’t do anything during combat except Dash and move. And they’ve sorted out a bug where some NPCs could shoot through floors and ceilings. At last, the enemies now play by everyone’s rules.

Lastly, Larian has added support for AMD FSR 2.2.

As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. You can also find its complete changelog on its official website.

Have fun!
