Ubisoft released a new version of their CG trailer that was first shown at E3. This latest version features Ezio’s monologue while he follows Altair’s steps in search for the one and only truth. In Revelations, Ezio is trying to find clarity and the wisdom that was left behind by Altair in order to better understand the purpose of their fight and his place in it. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is currently slated for a November release on PS3 and X360 – we are not including PC as we are certain that Ubisoft will delay it at the last minute. As we’ve mentioned a lot of times, PhysX was lacking in terms of multithread support and as a result of that, most PC games that featured hardware accelerated PhysX effects were plagued with low GPU usage. In other words, PhysX is bugged and in an attempt to fix those major issues, Nvidia released a new version of the PhysX SDK that offers better multithread support. Nvidia released today a new beta driver set for their GPUs. The biggest feature of these new beta drivers is Battlefield 3’s huge performance gains as according to the release notes, they offer up to 38% increase on GeForce GTX 570 at 2650×1600 and under the DX11 API.
