Two days ago, we informed you about StarForge. StarForge is a free-to-play game that is developed by the indie team CodeHatch and is inspired by Halo, Warcraft 3, and Minecraft. The game is powered by the Unity Engine and the team has just released the game’s first tech demo. This tech demo demonstrates a work-in-progress animation system that physically simulates the character’s body and it’s reactions to objects, impacts, falls and so on. We’ve all been waiting for the reveal of the next iteration of the Unreal Engine, but it seems that we’ll have to wait a little bit more. Epic’s Mark Rein revealed in GDC 2012 – behind closed doors – that Unreal Engine 4’s tech demo will be hopefully revealed later this year to the public. Deep Silver today announced that the PC version of the pirate RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters will fully support the 3D Vision technology from Nvidia. Eugen Systems and Focus Home Interactive have released a new update for their real-time action strategy game, Wargame: European Escalation. This update comes with improved tree/grass rendering performance, improved DX11 performance, 60% FPS increase with Nvidia cards when using Autodetect settings, better CrossFire support and memory optimizations.
