And the time has come everyone. Activision has released the official debut trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and like we said earlier, Woods returns. Well, you won’t be able to control him as he’s an old chap now but you’ll definitely see him. Not only that, but you’ll also get your first look at the futuristic setting that Treyarch has prepared. It looks quite strange to be honest. It’s like a weird combination of Deus Ex and Battlefield 2142. In other words; the Call of Duty you once knew is dead. Kudos to Treyarch for trying something different but… well, let’s hope it will live up to our expectations. The game is slated for a November 13th release on current generation consoles and PC. Man, I should be ashamed for not following this series. The first season of this amazing series has ended two weeks ago and nobody has noticed it. Therefore, we decided to include all episodes of this season, from Episode 3 to the Season Finale. The story more or less is this; Corbin, a Third Echelon operative, infiltrates a hostile compound to detain a high-value target. But things don’t go as planned and soon, he’s in a fight for his life against the greatest threat he’s ever faced – his own agency. We love live action films and series that are based on video games. So get ready everyone for a new live action prequel film to the video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Alpha will be a 25-minute film and will follow the Ghosts as they are dropped deep behind enemy lines in order to eliminate one of the world’s most sought-after war criminals. Kalypso Media and Coreplay have released a new update for their isometric 3D strategy game, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. This new update comes with a new hard difficulty level, a new tactical mode, new Achievements, sound FX for melee attacks, as well as a lot of bug fixes. While we’re waiting for the official release of Black Ops 2 trailer, some new screenshots for Activision’s upcoming FPS title got leaked. These shots are said to be from the upcoming trailer and showcase some futuristic environments. It’s pretty evident that Black Ops 2 will take place in the future. Not only that, but one of our favourite characters will re-appear in Black Ops 2. Yeap, you read that right. Bethesda has just announced that Skyrim’s first DLC, codenamed Dawnguard, will be coming to X360 this Summer. In addition, the company has also announced that more information and details will be revealed at this year’s E3. A lot of players got confused though. Was this an X360 exclusivity that would not hit all other platforms? And why didn’t Bethesda announce it for PC and PS3? Ah, time to return to the Kickstart realm. BlackFoot Studios is a small “high speed, low drag” independent studio whose goal is to fill a void in the style of games many would call ‘Classic’ tactical squad based gaming; As well as develop gaming products that cater to the “thinking gamers” of the tactical first person shooter genre. The team will start pretty soon a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming tactical FPS title, Ground Branch, and they have released a teaser trailer for it. Great news for sniper fans as Sniper Elite V2 is now available on Steam. The PC version was self-published by Rebellion themselves and comes with an exclusive team deathmatch mode. Naturally, the game is still locked in some regions but this good news to all of you as the Steam version comes with a 10% discount if you pre-purchase it, as well as two extra authentic sniping weapons. Square Enix has released a new trailer for the latest part of the Hitman franchise, Hitman: Absolution. In this video, the company showcases how agent 47 can deal with his enemies. Long story short, players will be able to take their enemies out silently or violently. Hitman: Absolution is slated for a 2012 release on current generation consoles and PC and looks quite promising. Let’s just hope that the AI will be sharp and challenging. Rockstar announced today the Max Payne 3 downloadable content plans with a full lineup of multiplayer content planned for release this summer and beyond, starting with the Local Justice Map Pack coming in June. Players will also be able to order the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass to get all of the upcoming DLC at a special discounted rate, compared to purchasing each pack individually. Starting today, the Rockstar Pass can be pre-ordered for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network from Best Buy or GameStop in the United States (or pre-ordered for PSN directly from the PlayStation Store).
