New MechWarrior Online Screenshots

Piranha Games have released some new screenshots for their upcoming free-to-play mecha game, MechWarrior Online. These new shots show off the game’s Catapult unit, in all of its CryEngine 3 glory. MechWarrior Online lets players command at will as they can go head-to-head online alone or with friends in high-octane Conquest and VS modes. MechWarrior Online promises to deliver a rich online experience, rewarding everything a player does with experience points, C-Bills, unlocks, and recognition. Enjoy! Half Life 3 Fan-Made Commercial: Join The Resistance

Pat Goodwin – from Equilitree – directed a short non-commercial film for Half-Life 3. This video lasts around 2 minutes and has a narration about the Resistance and Gordon Freeman’s history. It’s pretty basic, but at the same time it’s easy to the eyes and kind of cool. It doesn’t have those funky special effects of all other fan-made Half-Life films but then again, that’s not a bad thing as its artistic direction is completely different. Enjoy! New Skullgirls PC Details – Priced at 15$, no GFWL, future cross-play support between PC and PS3

The PC version of Skullgirls was announced yesterday and the team behind it has decided to share some new information about it. So, good news PC gamers as the game won’t be using GFWL. That’s really exciting, right? Well, not as excited as what you are about to read; Autumn Games plans to enable cross-play between the PS3 and the PC versions in the near future. Oh yeah, you read that right. The developers are looking into enabling cross-platform functionality via a future patch and that’s one of the reasons why the PC version won’t be using GFWL. Sniper Elite V2 – Launch Trailer

Rebellion and 505 Games released the launch trailer of their sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. Sniper Elite V2 is a third person tactical shooter set in the dying days of World War Two and is a next-generation reboot of 2005’s acclaimed original, Sniper Elite. The game weaves an explosive story of an undercover American OSS agent, stalking enemy prey across key historical locations from the Battle of Berlin in a mission to unravel the mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket programme. The game is already out in some countries and is slated for a March 4th release in most European regions. SEGA Genesis Classics Pack 5 is now available on Steam

A while ago, we informed you about some classic Mega-Drive games that appeared on Steam’s registry. As we predicted back then, those games were likely to be part of a new Classic Genesis Pack and it appears we were right, as SEGA has released the fifth part of their Genesis Classics Pack. Ravaged gets a new Kickstarter Video Update; new goal is $50K USD

2 Dawn Games have released a new video update for their indie MP focused first-person shooter game, Ravaged. In this video update, we get to see some new footage from Ravaged and let us tell you that it looks sweet. Since this is a game with vehicles, team objectives and skill-based gameplay, it’s essential to have good vehicles controls and physics and from the looks of it, Ravaged has already nailed it. The initial goal of the game’s Kickstarter campaign was $15K USD and 2 Dawn Games have managed to hit that mark. Their new goal now is $50K USD and the more they get, the better they can make the game and the more features they can add based on player’s input. Warner Bros announced today Cartoon Universe, a free-to-play, online world that will provide a safe, social environment for young kids to go on adventures, solve puzzles and play games with their favourite Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo! characters. Free DLC for Dungeons of Dredmor Revealed – Steam Workshop mod integration and New Skills confirmed

Gaslamp Games has revealed an upcoming free downloadable content pack for their indie RPG, Dungeons of Dredmor. This new DLC will feature Steam Workshop and mod integration with Steam, Battle Geology (a wizard-like warrior skill with earth-shattering consequences by the terribly mysterious Null), Clockwork Knight and Rogue Scientist (a pair of crafty steampunk skill lines by the too-clever-by-half Ruigi), and Warlockery (the wizard skill for wizards who would rather by warriors, by the utterly mad Essence).
