Darksiders II – Death’s Story Trailer

THQ has released a new trailer for Vigil Games’ upcoming sequel to Darksiders. Darksiders II follows the exploits of DEATH, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, in an action-packed tale that runs parallel to the events in the original Darksiders game. This new trailer shows off the story of Death and according to the company, it’s not a happy one. Darksiders II is currently slated for an August release on current generation consoles and PC. Dishonored – Release Date Announced, Boxshots Revealed

Bethesda Softworks today announced that Dishonored, the supernatural assassin action game under development at Arkane Studios, will be available in North America on October 9, in Australia on October 11 and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012. Developed under the direction of co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith, Dishonored is slated for release on X360, PS3 and PC. The Secret World – Open Beta Weekend starts on May 11th

Funcom announced that one million gamers are now registered for ‘The Secret World’ beta tests. This impressive number confirms the game’s position as one of the most highly anticipated massively multiplayer online games in the world, and the number is also significantly higher than what Funcom’s previous MMO ‘Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures’ saw at the same time in its pre-launch development phase. Stronghold 3: Gold Edition Announced

Firefly Studios today announced that Stronghold 3: Gold Edition will be released on 25 May 2012 for PC and Mac. This new edition will bundle the latest version of Stronghold 3 with a new “Blackstaff” single player campaign. Hitman: Absolution hits stores on November 20th

Square Enix and IO Interactive have unveiled – via the game’s FB page – that Hitman: Absolution will release world-wide on November 20th 2012. Those of you who pre-order the game will get the Hitman: Sniper Challenge instantly. The code will be redeemable from May 15th on PS3 and Xbox360, August 1st on PC through Steam and you can view its debut trailer after the jump. New Risen 2 PC Patch comes with fixes for both SLI and 7.1 sound systems, adds a dodge move

Great news for fans of Risen 2: Dark Waters as Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes have revealed the changelog of the game’s first PC patch. According to the publisher, this patch fixes major issues like the SLI stuttering effect, the flickering of trees that was present in Nvidia hardware and the crashes to desktop due to the 7.1 sound system. Moreover, this update will add a new ‘dodge’ move in your fights and players will be able now to block attacks from monsters.
