Slightly Mad Studios has released some new, community screenshots for their upcoming racing game, Project CARS. In addition, the company announced an exciting new addition to their WMD-powered Project CARS title as the Formula Gulf 1000 series and the Powerbuilt Raceway at Ruapuna Park are coming to the simulation. As always, the shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. Enjoy! Today, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 3 will be released on November 29 in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and on December 4 in the U.S. Far Cry 3 will be available for X360, PS3 and PC. 2K Games has released the launch trailer of their third person squad-based game, Spec Ops: The Line. The squad-based action in Spec Ops: The Line is highlighted by an intelligent squad command system that allows players to tactfully take out insurgents as they advance into the heart of Dubai. Gamers will blast their way through sandstorms with a variety of weapons and explosives, even using sand as a weapon to strategically bury enemies in their path. Combining intense action with a riveting narrative and the unique setting of a sandstorm ravaged Dubai, Spec Ops: The Line is unlike any other military shooter. We don’t usually cover mobile games, but we seriously feel the need to bring this game into the spotlight as we’re uterly amazed by its visuals. Gameloft’s Asphalt 7: Heat is an arcade racing game that was released – a couple of days ago – on iPad and iPhone. The game was released today and for Android and is packed with breathtaking graphics. It’s really shocking witnessing such graphics in a mobile game and what’s really funny is that those visuals can come, somewhat close to current-generation console games. Blizzard announced that on 30th June and 1st July 2012, 16 of the best StarCraft II players in the United Kingdom will compete in the World Championship Series UK Nationals in London. Evil Games is an indie game studio that is currently developing an action adventure game that combines exploration, puzzles and super fast gameplay. And even though their game is an isometric title, the company decided to create an alien mascot for it. This alien character is still a WIP model and is being created via the Unity Engine. What’s important here is that this is a realtime model, meaning that the engine can actually push this kind of visuals. It surely is not as impressive as Unreal Engine 4 but this engine is mainly targetted for indie developers. And we seriously can’t wait till all indie games look like this. Enjoy! Mojang has unveiled some new information – as well as the first gameplay trailer – about their upcoming turn-based game, Scrolls. The UK PC Retail and Steam Digital charts have been revealed and as we can see, Diablo III and Sid Meier’s Civilization V – Gods and Kings are at the first places. The UK PC Retail charts seem similar to last week’s, although we can notice two games entering the chart for the first time. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and Battlefield 3 Premium can be spotted at the ninth and tenth place, respectively.
