Primal Rage was one of my most favourite arcade games as it was a great mix between Mortal Kombat and Jurassic Park. And even though a sequel to it was under development, it never got out. To be honest, I’m somehow grateful that it never got out as Primal Rage 2 looks like a Killer Instict-wannabe with some dino morphs to fool those who loved the first game. But anyway, below you can find a new video from that cancelled arcade version of it, courtesy of YouTube’s member ‘raydude’. Kudos to NeoGAF for spotting it and special thanks to DeviantArt’s ‘Cepillo16’ for the amazing image! Continue reading New Footage From Cancelled ‘Primal Rage 2’ Arcade Surfaces→

SEGA has released a new trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines that focuses on the game’s storyline. I seriously hope that this new Aliens game will surprise me pleasantly, though I’m a bit disappointed from what I’ve already seen. Lots of scripted events everywhere and an awful AI make this a title that needs further polishing before rolling it out. Let’s hope that Gearbox will not disappoint us on this. Enjoy! It seems that a PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is already up and running at Konami’s HQ, despite the fact that the game was announced for consoles only. Truth be told, Konami stated – a while back – that they were considering porting MGR: Revengeance on the PC and while we haven’t got any official details about a possible PC version, Kojima has shared an image from the PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. 2012 was a great year for PC games mods. Not only did we get DayZ and Black Mesa, but we also enjoyed Brutal Doom, Cry of Fear as well as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Fallout: New Vegas with their contents that were cut off from their vanilla versions. Oh, and Skyrim got one hell of mods. And let’s not forget mods such as Doom: The Mercenaries that brings together the past (2D sprites) with the present (latest versions of Resident Evil). Even though we’ve been covering pCars this whole time, there is another racing game that looks slightly worse than it, but feels more ‘responsive’ and closer to real-life driving. You see, even rFactor 2 does not feature the mind-blowing visuals of Slightly Mad Studios’ racing game, it certainly features a better physics engine and a spectacular tire deformation system. We don’t know whether pCars will manage to surpass it, fact is though that racing sim fans should definitely give a go at ISI’s proper sim racing game.
