As promised, Ubisoft has released a new update for the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. According to the release notes – full changelog below – this patch adds a Hardcore mode, improves performance and shadows quality on Guerrilla maps, as well as online stability. Activision and Treyarch have released a preview trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s first DLC Map Pack, Revolution. Revolution promises to be one of the most robust and diverse DLC offerings in Call of Duty history, including four all-new Multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, an exclusive Multiplayer weapon, and a brand new Zombies game mode. YouTube’s member ‘MarphitimusBlackimus‘ has uploaded a gameplay video from the tech demo levels of Half-Life Alpha v 0.52 dated September 4, 1997, over one year prior to the finished game’s release. And you know what? I seriously love this kind of videos that show how games looked like before their time of release. The reason I love these videos is because we get to see an – almost – completely different game. 4A Games has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – that a new, 3D demo of Metro: Last Light will be available on Nvidia’s booth at this year’s CES. The demo will be live from January 8th to January 10th, and hopefully the company will release it on the Internet afterwards as a trailer. Dean Hall, creator of DayZ, has released a new set of screenshots from the standalone version of his zombie game that is being developed by him and Bohemia Interactive. Dean has also revealed some new information abou the standalone version.
