Despite the fact that the latest UE4 tech demo looks amazing, a lot of gamers were disappointed when they witnessed the differences between the GDC2013 trailer of Elemental and its latest version. Global illumination was nowhere to be found, something that had a huge impact on the demo’s visuals. As a result of that, a couple of gamers claimed that UE4 was in fact a step backwards and in order to calm everyone down, Epic’s rendering team leader has decided to shed some light. The 90’s Arcade Racer is perhaps the racing game we are most looking forward to this year. Even though this title is not as polished as GRID 2 (and does not feature as many shaders as Codemasters’ game), it comes with an amazing art design. It’s also a tribute to the classic SEGA arcade games, and we are big fans of those games. The 90’s Arcade Racer is powered by the Unity engine and Gamereactor interviewed Antonis Pelekanos and Tyrone Rodriguez, the duo responsible for it. Antonis Pelekanos has also revealed that this racing game is planned for a late 2013 release, though there is a high chance that it will get slightly delayed (meaning that we’re looking at a 2014 release). Enjoy! Continue reading The 90’s Arcade Racer – New Footage Unveiled, Targets A Late 2013 Release, May Get Delayed→
Soccer fans, you better start prepping your fingers as EA Sports has just revealed that the first official news and details for Fifa 14 will be unveiled tomorrow. EA Sports has also teased a new image (quick trivia: is it in-engine shot or not?), featuring Messi, meaning that Barcelona’s super star will be the main focus of it. Our guess is that Fifa 14 will be released on both current and next generation platforms – since Konami will be enhancing PES 2014 with the FOX Engine for next-gen platforms – so here is hoping that EA will reveal an image or an in-game teaser trailer from the next-gen version of it. Enjoy the teaser image below and stay tuned for more! Continue reading Fifa 14 – First Official News/Details Coming Tomorrow→

Will it take advantage of multiple CPU cores? Ah, so many questions and we don’t have the answers for most – if not all – of them. Enjoy the teaser and feel free to share your thoughts!
