Manuel Kerssemakers of Abbey Games has informed us about the release date of its upcoming God game, Reus. According to the team, Reus will become available on May 16th for the PC on Steam, GOG.com, Gamersgate and Desura. Furthermore, a new trailer has been released for Reus that can be viewed below.
Reus is a 2D god game in which you take control of nature through the hands of mighty giants, in which players possess all imaginable powers over nature. Among them terrascaping, creation of life, control of weather and genetic manipulation. There is only one thing on the planet that you do not control and that is mankind, with all their virtues and and all their vices. Therefore, it’s your responsibility to maintain a balance in which man is not overpowered by nature, and nature does not fall to man’s greed.
