During this year’s SIGGRAPH 2013, Jonathan Dupuy, Eric Heitz, Jean-Claude Iehl, Poulin Pierre, Fabrice Neyret and Victor Ostromoukhov presented a new graphical technique that could be used in next-gen (or next-next-gen) games. This new technique called ‘Linear Efficient Antialiased Displacement and Reflectance‘ (LEADR) is a reflectance filtering technique for displacement mapped surfaces that preserves surface appearance at all scales, is compatible with tessellation and promises to be the fastest, seamless, and antialiased progressive representation for displaced surfaces. Fifa 14 Demo Hits PC, PS3 & X360 On September 10th

EA Sports has just announced that the demo for Fifa 14 will be released on September 10th. The demo is based on the current-gen version of Fifa 14, meaning that it will be coming on PC, X360 and PS3. EA Sports has announced its Fifa 14 demo plans back in August, so this is just a reminder for our soccer fans. The current-gen version of Fifa 14 will lack some features that a lot of gamers were looking forward to (such as better physics, collisions and graphics), though it’s been reported that it will support Fifa Ultimate Team.
