And here comes a new challenger for most demanding title of 2014. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s Steam page has gone live, revealing the PC system requirements for this new action RPG LOTR title. According to the Steam page, PC gamers will need at least a quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 25GB of free HDD. Moreover, the game will only support DX11 and 64bit OS systems. Nvidia’s GeForce 337.50 Beta Are Great But Not Equivalent To AMD’s Mantle Performance Boost

Nvidia today released its latest beta driver for its graphics cards. According to their release notes, the GeForce 337.50 Beta drivers pack key DirectX optimizations which result in reduced game-loading times and significant performance increases across a wide variety of games. Moreover, these gains were said to be noticed in CPU bound titles, therefore we decided to give these drivers a test. The end result pleased us but the performance boost is not as good as the one witnessed with AMD’s Mantle. Mirror’s Edge & Deus Ex: Human Revolution Look Amazing In UE4, New Images Show Incredible Detail

Polycount’s members ‘juniez’ and ‘Disting’ have been working hard on their latest maps based on Mirror’s Edge and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, respectively. These two maps have been created in Unreal Engine 4 and the latest images show what this engine is capable of. Mirror’s Edge’s map has been overhauled with a new lighting system and some gorgeous reflections, while DE: HR’s map can be easily mistaken for an old CG photo. Unreal Engine 4 looks sexy and we can’t wait to see what triple-A developers will be able to achieve with it. Until then, enjoy the images! Kingdom Under Fire II – Gameplay Movie of City and Field

Blueside released last week a new trailer for Kingdom Under Fire II, showing off some gameplay footage, that passed under our radar. Shame on us. Kingdom Under Fire II is a RTS and RPG hybrid that has been under development for quite some time. The game looks cute and has nice boobs physics, but you can easily notice that: a) it’s powered by Unreal Engine 3 (it appears the game is powered by FAME Tech 2. Kudos to the devs for making the game look like an UE3-brownish title… I guess) and b) it looks similar to most multi-platform titles.
