Firewatch has sold one million copies, 54% coming from the PC platform

Campo Santo Productions has announced that Firewatch has sold one million copies worldwide. Firewatch is a single-player first-person adventure game, described by mane as a “walking simulator”. The game was released in February 2016 for PS4 and PC, and in September 2016 for Xbox One, and it took almost 9-10 months in order to hit the “one million” milestone. Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 are not coming to the PC according to SEGA of America’s PR manager

John Hardin, PR manager for Atlus USA/SEGA of America, has re-confirmed the platforms for which Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 will be coming to. According to Hardin, both of these games will be coming exclusively to PS3 and PS4, and there are no plans for a PC version. Intel’s Kaby Lake CPUs are now available, performing slightly better than Skylake

Intel has just released the Kaby Lake Core i5 7600K and Core i7 7700K processors. These processors aim to replace the Skylake Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K. The Core i5 7600K is priced at $242 while the Core i7 7700K is priced at $339, and both of them work in existing LGA 1151 motherboards. Arkane Studios claims that the PC launch of Prey won’t be plagued by performance issues

As you may already know, Dishonored 2 won our “least most optimized PC game of 2016” award. Powered by the Void Engine, Dishonored 2 performs horribly on the PC platform. Naturally, PC gamers got a bit worried about the next game that Arkane Studios is currently working on, Prey. However, Creative Director Raphael Colantonio claimed that Prey won’t suffer similar performance issues on the PC.
