Assassin’s Creed: Origins gets a Gamescom 2017 cinematic trailer

Ubisoft has released a new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Origins. In Assassin’s Creed: Origins, players will journey into Ancient Egypt and will discover the secrets behind the Great Pyramids, forgotten myths, the last pharaohs, and – engraved in long-lost hieroglyphics – the origin story of the Assassin’s Brotherhood. Crytek’s Senior Cinematic Artist shows gorgeous mountain and forest environments in CRYENGINE

Crytek’s senior cinematic artist, Joe Garth, has created two lovely environments in CRYENGINE, showing the capabilities of Crytek’s Engine. The first environment is a highly detailed forest, while the other one is a mountain environment inspired by Alaska’s Chugach Mountains. Fortnite surpasses one million players, Survival mode coming on August 29th

Epic Games has announced that its third-person action building game, Fortnite, has surpassed one million players. Fortnite was launched in Early Access on July 25th, meaning that it took Epic almost a month to hit its one million milestone. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 – Official Starfighter Assault Gameplay Trailer

Electronic Arts and DICE have released the Gamescom 2017 trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront 2, revealing the new Starfigter Assault mode. In this mode, players will be able to take part in an epic starfighter assault set during the original trilogy era, piloting an assortment of Star Wars’ greatest ships in an objective-based, multi-stage battle. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is powered by the Frostbite 3 Engine and its open beta phase will begin on October 6th.
