Playerunknown’s Battleground is the 4th game with the highest peak player count on Steam, closes to 5 million units

Playerunknown’s Battleground appears to be a huge success on the PC. According to Steamcharts, Bluehole’s battle-royale title has managed to top Grand Theft Auto V and has climbed in the 4th place of Steam’s games with the highest peak player count of all time. Not only that, but according to Steamspy, the game closes to 5 million sold copies, even though it’s still in its Early Access program. Might & Magic Showdown has been removed from Steam, servers to be shut down on July 31st

Back in January, Ubisoft released Might & Magic Showdown. And in just six months, the French company decided to cancel it and has already removed it from Steam. Now that is a huge flop. And to be honest, we aren’t really surprised by such a thing as this new Might & Magic game felt like a really niche title (and the Might & Magic series is already a niche genre so… yeah… it was to be expected). Deep Silver has released a new trailer for Volition’s upcoming a single-player, open-world, third-person action game, Agents of MAYHEM, focusing on the Firing Squad. Rumour: Intel’s next generation i7 and i5 mainstream CPUs will feature more cores than their predecessors

Intel plans to released the eighth generation of its Core i7 CPUs, based on Coffee Lake, in the second half of 2017 and according to the latest rumours, the mainstream chips will feature more CPU cores than their predecessors. Gravel – First developer diary video focuses on the engine powering it

Milestone has released the first developer diary video, in which the development team discusses about the engine powering its new arcade off-road racer, Gravel. Contrary to all of its previous titles, Gravel will be powered by Epic’s engine, the Unreal Engine 4. As the team noted, it decided to use Unreal Engine 4 mainly in order to make significant strides forward from a technological point of view. Therefore, Unreal Engine 4 will allow Milestone to create extremely vast tracks that were really difficulty to make before.
