Back in July 2019, we informed you about a multiplayer mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat. However, it appears that there is another multiplayer mod for this STALKER game under development, and you can download its early version right now.
As its title suggests, X-Ray Multiplayer Extension is a multiplayer mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat. Its Early Access version is currently available for download and offers a Defence mode. What’s also really important to note is that its latest version offers a Co-Op mode. Not only that, but in future versions, the team aims to add an Open-World mode.
As the team noted:
“We’re developing the “Cooperative” mode, where you’ll be playing on the “Pripyat-1 underpass” location. We already made some cooperative gameplay features, so you’ll need at least 2 players to play it. Why this location? Because this location will be the easiest to create the cooperative gameplay. We will need this experience in the future when we’ll be creating the “Open World” mode. Also we’ve started creating the “Open World” mode location. This location containts Bar, Dark Valley, Army Warehouses and the new level, which has it’s own secrets.”
