Now here is something unexpected. Nekotekina, kd-11 and DH, creators of the best PS3 emulator for PC, RPCS3, are currently working on a new Playstation 4 emulator.
This PS4 emulator is in a very early development stage. And when I say in very early, I mean VERY EARLY. At this point, the team has not been able to boot any PS4 game yet. So no, it doesn’t run any Playstation 4 games. Still, this is the PS4 emulator we should keep an eye on as it’s coming from the people behind RPCS3.
Right now, the most advanced Playstation 4 emulator for PC is Spine. In January, we shared a video that showcased over 125 PS4 games running on it.
Aside from Spine, Kyty, fpPS4 and GPCS4 are among the best-known PS4 emulators. These emulators are not as good as Spine. Thus, it will be interesting to see how long will it take for RPCSX to reach Spine’s status.
And that is that. Unfortunately, there is nothing else to report. Oh, and let’s also hope that the team will not stop updating RPCS3.

They should stick to RPCS3. Not sure if a PS4 emulator is that necessary outside of a few games, that down the line will be ported to PC. Same as an xbox one emulator.

there a lot of exclusive game on ps3/xbox that never ported on pc, like fable 2, crackdown 1/2, or on ps3 the killzone trilogy or puppetteer.
Drakengard 3, Tales of Xillia, Asuras Wrath, Dantes X, ICO, Shadow of the collossus, some other games.
TONS of PS3 games never came to PC or ReReleased in HD.

Id rather see god of war 1-3 and Uncharted 1-3 not randomly freeze, yes there are tweaks you can do to reduce it but thats it, its reduced not gets rid of the issues, maybe someday they will find out whats causing the issue on the emulator
