Electronic Arts and DICE will release a brand new update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 tomorrow. According to the teams, the February 12th update packs a number of fixes. It also implements various collision, visual effects and lighting improvements.
Going into more details, it fixes issues such as BB-8 and BB-9E having the wrong VO lines. It also fixes for General Grievous’ Claw Rush sometimes draining all the stamina of an opponent.
DICE has also implemented some balance changes. For instance, it reduces the Battle Point gains of some classes by 50%. Moreover, it lowers the heat cost for the spool-up functionality on the Heavy Trooper’s Sentry abilities. It also reduces Darth Vader’s damage reduction from 75% to 20%.
As always, Origin will download this patch once it becomes available tomorrow. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

I hate how they added those two droids as heroes into the game. It’s so damn hard to hit them, they feel OP and can get out of a pinch, while doing decent dmg to you easily, on top of also buffing regular troopers.
What also irks the hell out of me, is how they’ve screwed up the heavy trooper’s gattling ability, because now it takes forever to ramp it up and actually fire some rounds off. I get killed practically every time I start it up. I shouldn’t have to hide behind cover each time I’m to ramp it up, because that gives the enemy too much time to either flank me or run away. It was absolutely perfect before, when Iw as able to instantly ramp it up and start firing straight away.
I wish EA would give some damn buffs tor regular troopers, because it feels like I’m just there for bonus points for Hero players.
OKAY…Some new stuff for john/DSOG it seems ?? lol
