Croteam has just announced that the retro indie-action RPG game that is based on Serious Sam will be released on October 24 to the PC. Serious Sam: The Random Encounter will be available through Steam, Get Games and other fine retailers and will be priced at $4.99 USD. Moreover, the company released a trailer for it that can be viewed after the jump.
The legendary Serious Sam reloads and rearms in an explosive, turn-based RPG developed by indie superstars Vlambeer (Super Crate Box, Ridiculous Fishing). Serious Sam: The Random Encounter follows Sam and his band of oddball mercenaries as they battle across a pixilated world teeming chaotic battles, hordes of bizarre creatures, and mysterious secrets.
