Electronic Arts has confirmed that the next Need for Speed game will be showcased at its EA PLAY 2017 event. Electronic Arts will kick off the event with its annual press conference at noon PT/3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. BST on June 10th (5AM AEST on June 11th), and we expect the first trailer of this new NFS game to be shown during this press conference.
Alongside this new Need for Speed game, Electronic Arts will show Star Wars Battlefront II, FIFA 18, Battlefield 1: In The Name of the Tsar, as well as new content for Titanfall 2.
This new Need for Speed game will be released in 2017, and will feature a proper offline single-player mode.
Here is hoping that the PC version won’t be delayed, and that it will not be plagued by the optimization issues of its predecessor.
Stay tuned for more!

Lol get ready for 60fps announcements and “YOU CAN TURN VSYNC OFF etc bshyte”.
Need for Speed needs to deliver this time otherwise it is curtains for another long running franchise.
A true offline mode? What a breakthrough!!! A true selling point!
As a player who played last NFS a lot I can tell you not being able to pause the game is hell on earth.
I never had an issue with it .
Never had call during events then on mobile or had to text some1 or do something else.
You must be living alone or play late when people sleep.
OR loosing a race is not a big deal . Sitting in the game world also not a big deal .
“OR loosing (losing?) a race is not a big deal.”
Are you retarded?
Are you only here to correct spelling ? If so you clearly have nothing to say .
Calling someone “retarded” in the middle of a discussion instead of addressing what was said , Can you not see the Irony ?
If you are playing a racing game, I think you should care about winning in it.
Meh , Whats more important to you , Do that .
Also depends on the race and the game , Its all situational. Having to walk away from a game is what adults have to do .
I’m calling you retarded because your response to the perfectly legitimate criticism of not having a pause button was that it’s fine to just lose the race instead. Motherf*cker, the whole point of a racing game is to win f*cking races! I can’t believe you’re so stupid that I actually have to explain something so basic. No pause button is something that people have been complaining about in Souls games (in offline mode at least) for years, but at least in those it’s easy enough to hide in a corner for a few minutes. You can’t exactly stop without consequence in a racing game.
There is no real consequences,it’s a game . Win loose it don’t matter , restart the race . Here is some hints. If you do not want to be disturbed while gameing do your chorus before gameing then your mum won’t bother you . Second if you want to come across as some what intelligent calling people childish names is not a good way to go about it , it’s quite ironic .
another console exclusive, need for speed on pc sell very low!
