Brazilian team Swordtales has released a new trailer for their upcoming game, Toren. Toren is an indie puzzle/adventure game for PC and MAC with beautiful graphics, innovative and immersive gameplay, which leads the player through an introspective and captivating journey using the most deep concepts. Built around an epic poem, the game takes the audience in an torrent of discoveries about the greatest myth of all, the meaning of life.
Toren is a game in development, with transformation in mind, using an environment with a constant threat: a relentless enemy. The experience desired for the player is the human struggle against time and mortality.
The game puts the player in the beggining of an experience of growth and continual change, interacting with the solution of puzzles that the game presents. The interface, which is being tested, uses the same philosophy present in Heavy Rain to give immersion for the player feel every action and every effort during the game. The life that was given to that princess lasts only one day.
The following teaser sports new visuals and seems like a mix between Zelda and The Last Guardian. It looks awesome, so make sure to give it a go!
