Remember Flappy Bird? Well, YouTube’s ‘Zaidadoo’ has released a remake of this game in Unreal Engine 5. Zaidadoo has recreated this game from the ground up so that he can bring it into the modern era with improved graphics and game mechanics using Unreal Engine 5.
Now there are some good and some bad news. The good news is that this fan remake of Flappy Bird is complete and available for download. The bad news is that it’s behind a Patreon wall. So yeah, that kind of sucks. I mean, I was willing to try this Flappy Bird Remake in UE5 in case it was free. After all, I wasn’t a big fan of this mobile game.
Anyway, you can at least watch the following video which showcases the game in action. So, you can at least get an idea of how this fan remake looks and plays like. It’s really cool and I understand why its creator is charging money for it. However, I don’t see it becoming viral anytime soon.
Zaidadoo is also working on a remake of Pac-Man 3D in Unreal Engine 5. Now that’s a remake I’d most likely pay money to play. I mean, I was a huge fan of Pac-Mania back in the Amstrad CPC days. And, from what I’ve seen, this upcoming remake of Pac-Man 3D looks pretty cool.
Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, we recommend trying out these other free fan-made demos. You can grab a Superman UE5 Demo, a Halo 3: ODST Remake, and a Spider-Man UE5 Demo. There’s also a fan-made version of STALKER in Unreal Engine 5. If you love old-school FPS games, you should check out this remake of the classic FPS Blood in Epic’s engine. Then we have The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Demo in Unreal Engine 5.3.2. Don’t also forget the remake of Halo: Combat Evolved’s Halo level in UE5 or this free Attack on Titan game. Lastly, we have The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Reimagined in Unreal Engine 5 and a Diablo 2 Remake Demo. They all look awesome, so be sure to give them a try.
Enjoy this dev video for the Flappy Bird Remake in Unreal Engine 5, and stay tuned for more!

The enigma DRM that Capcom has added was made by 1 person, which people geolocated to Russia based on his forum posts.
Apparently an update was reverted by Capcom, but not before likely millions of people updated and downloaded the enigma DRM.
So that specific DRM is now on millions of people their PC, and anti-virus flagged it 34 times as either virus or malware. It also runs in kernel space and can not be removed from a PC without a full format.
People tried to warn others not to launch Steam, since Steam does not allow people to block game updates.
Steam should be sued for this disaster.

Capcom is adding DRM to games people bought on Steam years ago. Many of these games are originally from 1989 or earlier.
And there is didly squat Steam users can do about it, since Valve does not allow users to block game updates and forces them to update. (completely insane that Valve forces updates, I don’t know any other company that forces updates)
However, Capcom is not touching GoG versions of games, and no one has reported any updates. Since GoG would permanently ban Capcom if they added DRM.
