Arc System Works has announced that a new Double Dragon game is planned for a January 2017 release. Double Dragon 4 will be the next part in the Double Dragon franchise and its story will pick up after the elimination of the Shadow Warriors in Double Dragon II.
Double Dragon 4 will feature 2D retro visuals similar to those of the first Double Dragon games. Moreover, every mode can be played by two players at the same time.
In order to celebrate this announcement, Arc System Works released a teaser trailer for Double Dragon 4 that can be viewed below.
Double Dragon 4 is scheduled for release on January 30th.
